Walking & Writing Workshop: Creative Foraging (Weihnachtsmarkt Edition) by Demi Anter
In-Person
As writers, we can forage for stories, for sustenance. On this creative walk through Berlin, led by writer Demi Anter, we will slow down, look, touch and listen to gather details from the city around us.
This popular seasonal workshop consists of discussion of text from a range of genres, a guided walk through Neukölln, stops for refreshments at the Alt-Rixdorfer Weihnachtsmarkt, writing exercises and feedback.
The aim of the session is to practice the art of attention together, thereby finding new ways of writing Berlin and our experiences of it. Together we will use the details we glean to reimagine our day-to-day environment, find inspiration from history and new stories that are totally our own.
