Yep, we did it. We made a zine out of the pandemic.

A pandemic to unite us all in creativity: because that’s what we do best.

We at WWBL encourage and support female voices, but more than anything we enjoy their artwork, this is why we asked our community to share their new normal and habits during the COVID-19 lockdown, their hopes and fears for the unknown and whatever they felt was worth sharing. We collected them all for you to enjoy and move forward stronger and bolder than ever.

Our initial project of a short, indie zine became so much more. Due to an overwhelming response to our submissions call, QUARANZINE like a Lady is A THICK LADY with more than 60 pages of poetry, fiction and visual art. We couldn’t possibly limit the talent of our women*, that’s why we followed their creative power and made something so beautiful and unexpected.

DISCLAIMER: Due to the length of our final publication and the outstanding value we see in it, we think our community deserves recognition in both glory and hard cold coin. We dare to ask for a small financial compensation, this fee will help us further support and create platforms for our WWBL community with projects similar to this.
