Erotica Writing Workshop

A workshop with author and sex activist, Ana Ornelas AKA Pimenta Citrica

Mixing creative writing and screenwriting techniques with erotica stratagems, this workshop is for all lovers of sensual literature, providing practical writing tools to begin writing erotica as well as learning more about its history and relevance.

Erotica accounts for a big portion of the literary market worldwide, and yet, it's still taboo. Regarded by many as second-class literature, it's been part of our creative expression since before the advent of writing. In this workshop, participants will get to know more about its history and honor how erotica can not only be high-quality but a tool for self-discovery and improvement.

What will I learn?

Designed for a reduced crowd of maximum 15 participants, the 180-minute workshop encourages partakers to find their own voice through writing, and implement their own stories and fantasies in order to create fun and delightful pieces. It also drives them to find out insights about their own sexuality and needs which lead them to more satisfying sex lives.

Who is the workshop for?

This entry-level workshop is open to professional writers, beginners, or curious souls alike, of all genders, sexual orientations, and ages. The primary goal is to foment a safe and colorful environment to come in contact with the art of erotic literature as well as specific professional techniques which can boost creativity. No previous knowledge is required.

An activity projected to make each participant’s idiosyncrasies and stories shine so all of them can find their own unique erotic voice.
