So you want to create a one woman show, but don’t know where to start, or don’t have an idea or concept? I can help you with that. Creating a one-woman show can be an exciting and challenging process—and don’t forget, it can be expensive too. It involves not only developing a compelling story or concept but also crafting a performance that can engage and captivate an audience. So how do you start? By understanding the link between the divine within you and your creativity. That process can be tough, especially when your thoughts and opinions get drowned out by the external influences of comparisons, self-doubt, intimidation, and insecurity after taking the first step.

Your spirituality and creativity are divinely linked, and when you block everything else out, you will be surprised at the amount of ideas rushing in that have been irking to come through you. Those ideas are your spark, your fire, and your light, and it is your divine right to express yourself and all that comes through you to the rest of the world. Creativity + spirituality + strategy equals success in creating meaningful and impactful work.

Join me in this two-part weekend workshop as I share tools I learned that got me through a three-month shooting process, provide lectures and exercises that will guide you to your unique voice, and tools to help you create momentum for your project. With careful planning and execution, a one-woman show can be a powerful and memorable experience for both the performer and the audience.

What will I learn?

  • How to generate ideas for your solo project

  • How to organize and pace yourself when working independently

  • How to work with what you have and keep your expenses low

  • How to use your limitations as your ally

  • How to deal with delays, setbacks and adjustments

  • How to co-collaborate with the divine light within you for guidance and direction

  • How to deal with comparisons and self doubt when you feel like what you have simply isn’t good enough

  • How to remain focused and aligned with your work

  • How to create a schedule that allows you to shoot your project from pre-production to post production
