With Allia (AWERFJIL) Sadeghipour in collaboration with @Disobedient Circumstance (please see ticket link for Corona regulations)
The Workshop
Regardless of how you answer, I know EXACTLY what will happen to all of us at the end of the night. It’s that point. Exhausted from dancing or searching for your friends. Bladder is as full as the toilet line. The high of whatever poison is beginning to wane and you think to yourself, do I go home? Do I stay? You wait, somewhere, maybe outside, and the fateful habit kicks in again: you pull out your phone.
After Corona, we have spent so much time indoors and online that we have become even more disconnected. But as things have started to open back up, we are quick to go out into this glorious Berlin summer, snap photos of adventures, and post online as if we weren’t completely dependent on the thing in our hands: Our E-dentity. The identity that we have formed online. Whether we want to admit it or not, its starting to become a part of us now. Its fed into us and nourished us through a pandemic, but is it a part of you? Did you bring your second self to the club with ya?
In this 2-hour workshop, we will discuss, write, reflect and share our digital selves in an attempt to bring our two halves together. Bring a phone (or a small notebook and pen). Bring a mask. Bring your amazing selves. There will be a performance/sharing round at the end of the workshop.
