Poetry: Window Nights

by: Eleonora Gelmetti

One night

Sitting on the window

- in the room candlelight -

Dancing, spinning, blowing

A gentle breeze

Among the trees

Outside.

-

[air smells of summer]

-

One night

You and i

Getting high

With our feet up, there!,

Far away the stars

Shining bright.

-

!

-

Groovy music playing

Bodies flowing

Flesh refusing to rest

-the best!

-

Feet touching, caressing

Each other,

Hands interweaving,

Heads floating

Conjuncted somewhere

Above the clouds.
