Poetry: Some People

Some people are
like a catharsis.
Infinitely imperfect,
Indecently kind,
perceptive and unpromising,
but building a home out of
every syllable.
With some people
time flies like a nanosecond.
They finish your thoughts,
create new ones and put
ellipses at the end of sentences, because nothing ends
and everything begins
always anew.
Such people give you
a sense of the world, make your hopes crumble, plant new ones, and exist as evidence that kind-hearted people do not hesitate to give of themselves and are aware that sometimes there will be nothing in return.
Some people are like a catharsis –
to reincarnate with them is simply compulsory.
