Title inspired by Lous and The Yakuza, Solo
leaps of assurance
heaps of insecurities
to be climbed
comfortable words
dig deep
limit the aesthetic
focus on the essence
i've spoken
more than you might
have imagined
in circumstances
where no sounds were made
i marvel
at the memories
at the gems i carry
secretly in my heart
i lock the doors
in an attempt
to feel protected
i savour
the light of the sunrise
sole witness
or apparently so
warmth is distant
lost underground
I share tears
heavy with centuries
of invisibility
and discrimination
enraged
i ask myself
when will this all end.
once and for all.
